Managing Directors Pauric Fitzpatrick and Ida Fitzpatrick established a sole trader business - a steel fabrications and a building business combined - in 1985. With this rapidly growing business there was a need to establish PFM in 1997 to concentrate on the steel fabrications industry.

PFM Ltd., Ireland, now manufactures steel products for the building trade and the telecommunications industry as well as civil and structural engineering.

PFM Ltd., Ireland, relocated in the same locality in February 2002, now centrally located between Portarlington and Rathangan. Due to continual demand for the products and the need to update some equipment it was necessary to have a more spacious yard and workshop. The current workshop is 8500 square feet with a 70,000 square foot yard.

PFM has expanded steadily since 1985. It has gone from employing MDs Ida and Pauric Fitzpatrick to employing 16 at present between both concerns.


Pauric Fitzpatrick has decades of experience in the fabrication and completion of agricultural and industrial units.

PFM's buildings are made to a very high standard, keeping ourselves updated with grant specifications.

PFM also offer a service to fabricate your shed (grant/non-grant) and supply you with you own drawings for erection therefore saving you €€€€s.
